 約4年ぶりに伊藤環さんの個展を開催いたします。
この間、作り手を取り巻く環境や器へのまなざしは静かに変化を重ね、 余分な痕跡を削ぎ落とし、より簡素で本質的な器へと歩みを進めてきました。 近年は、土のやわらかさに呼応して生まれる形を好み、 表層的なデザインではなく、身体性を伴ったうつわの存在感を大切にしています。 今展では、白磁や枯淡釉、柞灰の器に加え、 17～19世紀のヨーロッパの素朴な土ものに学んだ〈PAYSAN（農夫）〉シリーズも ご紹介いたします。 日常に自然に馴染み、実用的かつ機能的で、 ほんの少しのユーモアを兼ね備えた伊藤環さんの作品を この機会にぜひご覧ください。
We are pleased to present the first solo exhibition by Kan Ito in nearly four years. During this time, the environment surrounding the artist and his perspective on vessels have quietly evolved. By paring away superfluous traces, he has moved toward forms that are simpler and more essential. In recent years, he has favored shapes that arise in response to the natural softness of clay, valuing not surface design but the physical presence of vessels that embody a sense of the maker’s touch. This exhibition features works in white porcelain, Kotan glaze, and oak ash glaze, as well as pieces from the PAYSAN (“Farmer”) series, inspired by the humble earthenware of 17th–19th century Europe. We invite you to experience Kan Ito’s works—pieces that blend effortlessly into daily life, practical and functional yet imbued with a subtle sense of humor.

1971年生まれ 大阪芸術大学卒業後、京都にて山田光氏（走泥社創始）に師事
信楽“陶芸の森”にて各国若手作家と競作の後、郷里秋月へ戻り 父 橘日東士氏と共に作陶
2006年 神奈川県三浦市三崎に開窯 2012年 岡山県岡山市に移住
